My name is Kanae and I am a photographer based in Niseko, Hokkaido. I was born and raised in Osaka, then I moved to Canada in 2021, where I started my journey as a  photographer. After returning to Japan in 2025, I moved to Niseko to work a season, and currently I am working in a media agency.

My belief is that life is full of beautiful moments and capturing them and documenting them is really what I strive to do. My goal with photography is to capture moments that feel honest and authentic, the moments that make you feel something.

In my photography, I focus on portrait, fashion, and commercial projects. My photography is driven by striking colors, high contrast, dynamic lighting, and deliberate compositions.
