My name is Kanae and I am a photographer based in Niseko, Hokkaido. I was born and raised in Osaka, then I moved to Canada in 2021, where I started my journey as a  photographer. After returning to Japan in 2025, I moved to Niseko to chase the snow and photography.

My belief is that life is full of beautiful moments and capturing them and documenting them is really what I strive to do. My goal with photography is to capture moments that feel honest and authentic, the moments that make you feel something. The world is full of beautiful people and places, and I use photography as a way of documenting and archiving them.

In my work of photography, I focus on portrait, fashion, and commercial projects. My photography is driven by striking colors, high contrast, dynamic lighting, and deliberate compositions.
